In setting up the blog I did what I so often do when it comes to instructions and read up until I could find what I was looking for and then proceeded to ignore them. And, as so often happens when I do it, I did things mostly right. I jumped straight into building the website instead of receiving the username and then building the site. It seems like everything is correct so far but I think this is a good lesson for how I should approach EDCI 336. I’m very confident in my skills with technology but should be careful not to jump the gun and assume I know what’s happening. It makes me recall a time when my Dad dropped me off at my first Judo class. He turned to me in the car and said “Don’t forget, they know more than you.” A humbling moment to recall now but at the time I was just excited to get inside. I am excited for this class but will recall that I should read and listen to everything wholly before assuming I know what is going on.

I feel like i am in the same boat as you whereas i am very comfortable with my skills with technology but there is definitely more that i could learn. I also generally ignore all instructions and then later on realize that i have no idea what i am doing. I really liked how relatable your blog was for me

I love that you used your own images, you’re a great photographer. And because I’m so curious about them, I wonder if it’s not too late to add below where they are located in Victoria/The Island! I also love that you made your post personal and added some very cool details about your childhood. Also, thank you for the wisdom shared; it’s always good to let ourselves be humble when the situation allows. Thank you for a wonderful post to read!
